Numerical analysis of mass and temperature flow

Scope of work:

  • numerical model development
  • CFD analyses with thermal distribution analyses
  • optimization of duct and guides shapes

Results:

  • optimized mass flow for proper system operation of EPP facility.
CFD analysis

The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solver made possible to perform fast and effective analysis of medium flow with thermal exchange with surrounding structures (ducts). Analysis results (i.e. velocities) makes possible to detect places which have negative influence on whole system. With using iterative optimization it was possible to elaborate the most effective solutions.
