Experimental and simulation studies of satellite transmitter

For European Space Agency (ESA) needs the work done for Wroclaw University of Technology:

  •  experimental modal analysis for satellite transmitter with eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes identification,
  • detailed numerical model of casing and electronics was developed,
  • based on experimental results correctness of numerical model was verified and confirmed
Numerical simulation

Based on verified numercial model the simulation was done:

  • design response on random excitation
  • design response on harmonic excitation within applied frequency spectrum
  • design response on impact excitation
Assessment

Based on simulation results assessment was done:

  •  technical design correctness of device fixation at satellite panel with included breakdown accidents
  • structural static and fatigue strength of the emitter casing
  • structural static and fatigue strength of electronic components, printed circuit boards and solder joints
  • device compliance with launching system requirements
